big ass boulders of fun in hampi

ok short blog cause the internet here sucks ass. first of all, that phone number doesnt work right now cause appppaaaaarreeeenttttllly that phone company doesnt work in this province. so i bought another sim card with another company but now im in some tiny town where there's no signal. so there you have it; you'll have to wait to get your friendly covos with me.

so we've left the brilliant beaches of goa to escape the monsoon...only to find ourselves spending the whole fucking day on a train which was 4 hours longer than we were told. so by the time we arrived we decided to just stay in the town of hospet. MASSIVE MISTAKE. hospet = hell hole of death and destruction. maybe even worse. when meghan updates her blog im sure she can expand on that. it was all that i imagined india to be in terms of suckiness. it's stinky, overcrowded, insanely noisy. i saw an emaciated bottomless man being eaten by cows for fuck'ssakes! and we had a stalker who would incessantly call krista's cell phone and then keep showing up at our hotel room. plus all the men there were pervy and a rickshaw driver came to our room and peeped through our keyhole. (by the way its just me, krista and smegs now. eug come back and protect us!!!) there is absolutely nothing positive to say about hospet. no one ever go there!!!

but do go to hampi! its roughly 5 billion times better than hospet. which is where we are now, a mere 30 min. away from hospet. i dont know the history of the place (aha, but meghan does!)...something about the centre of the empire down here int he south way back when... anyway what i do know is this place has the craziest landscape ever. gigantic boulders just all over the place and amidst the boulders are ruins and temples. we spent this morning roaming around taking sacreligious photos of each other in a temple. (i am on msn with my sister debating how to spell sacriligious. we dont know. and now i just used a different spelling so hopefully at least one is right but i doubt it.) anyway, im getting lazy from this heat so i think i'll go retire in our room for a bit...even though its only 10:30 am.
